40 Days of Faith – Cell Leaders Training

Our objective is that you become a modern-day disciple, a disciplined student of Jesus Christ in daily Bible reading, faith, prayer and affirmation.

So the faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10:17

Faith is the key to developing your full potential and living a positive, healthy, successful life. God wants His people to be strong in faith because He is a good God. Developing your faith life is the most important thing you will ever do because faith receives God’s goodness. God is a faith God and He wants His people to be “faith” people because faith is the key to winning in life. The Bible says: “without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6).

TEACHING IS NOT TRAINING

Training is not just education. Training engages you to apply what you have learned.

Education is generally measured by tenure…

Training, on the other hand, is measured by what you can do when completed…

Training results in changed behavior... Training is not just education.

EX. If your sixteen year-old daughter told you that she was going to take a sex education course at high school, you might be pleased. What if she announced she was going to take part in some sex training at school? Would that elicit the same response? Training is doing.

Churches in general do not train people, if anything, they teach, they educate. Researchers report that people remember 90 percent of what they do, 75 percent of what they say, and 10 percent of what they hear. People who are trained are active. They are trained by doing. So each day for the next forty days you will receive information and make consistent application of the spiritual information you have received. It is just that simple. Training will change your life.

“Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." - Romans 10:17

THE 40-DAY FACTOR!

God caused it to rain forty days and forty nights in the flood of Noah (Genesis 7:4).

Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights receiving the Ten Commandments from the Lord (Exodus 34:28).

Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights while being tempted of the devil (Matthew 4:1-2)

HOW TO USE THIS TRAINING TOOL

This book is a tool for 40 DAYS OF APPLICATION, AFFIRMATION and PRAYER. By the end of this course you will have read 40 chapters of the Bible, made 40 positive affirmations of faith, and prayed 40 prayers for insight for yourself and the church in your area.

Read only one lesson per day DOING the following three things each day:

1. APPLICATION: Read the recommended chapter of the Bible

2. AFFIRMATION: Make the affirmation daily

3. PRAYER: Pray the Ephesians 1 prayer for yourself and the Church.

This will result in you being prosperous and successful and doing good for others. By the way, that is what a disciple of Jesus does.

Contact me by email when you have completed the course so that I can send you a signed graduate certificate of completion. So make the commitment and quality decision now to finish the course.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

THE LESSON

40 DAYS OF FAITH: Application, Affirmation, Prayer

DAY 1: "FAITH IS NOT SENSE KNOWLEDGE"

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

-Hebrews 11:1

Sense knowledge is knowledge that is gained through the senses. It is simply natural knowledge that is perceived through the five physical senses. They are; “seeing, touching, hearing, smelling and tasting.”

Here is the first great secret you must learn to grow in faith; “sense knowledge is the great enemy of faith.” Faith is spiritual substance that comes from hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The Word says we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Sight here could have been translated "the senses." We could say; we walk by faith and not by the senses.

Make the decision to not be dominated by sense knowledge but by the Word of God. Make the decision to walk by faith. Walking by faith is simply doing what the Bible says to do in your situation, regardless of what your senses tell you. Walk by faith, not by sight (the senses)!

What is your most pressing need today? Is it spiritual? Physical? Relational? Financial? As you start this journey over the next 40 days you will see that need dissolved by the power of your faith.

Application: Read 2 Corinthians chapter 5.

Affirmation: “I walk by faith and not by the senses and my need is now met, my problem is now solved by faith!”

DAILY PRAYER

As you pray this you are praying God’s perfect will, because you are praying the Word back to God. Do it in faith and you will see phenomenal results.

Ephesians 1:15-23

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. In Jesus Name, Amen.
